Music by J.B. LULLI (adapted from "Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme"
and other plays by Molière).
Costumes designed by Ruxandra Racovitza and produced by Anne Romer.

COMMEDIA was created at Aix-En-Provence (La Danse à Aix) Château de Tholonet.

CARTOONS
A choreographic Menagerie, by Gigi CACIULEANU, freely adapted from " The Animal Carnival".
Presented in the style of a cartoon. Dancers become elephants, swans, cuckoos...
let yourself go with the dream. "Le Carnaval des Animaux" is like
a cartoon of dancers performing in 3D on stage.

STAGE :
1 set of black curtains (above stage curtains, lateral curtains, taps)

1 vinyl dance mat (can be supplied by the company)

LIGHTING :
3 full stage lights : white, blue (119) and red
1 central white spot light (4 metres)
Starting from front stage to back stage in every gap in the masking including front of the stage (the last one can be seen by the audience): 1 lightstand and 1 shin buster left and right.

SOUND :
1 two-track tape recorder, 1/4 inch, 19 cm/s. (B 77 REVOX) or 1 cassette recorder
2 powerful sound-back systems for the stage(2X100 W)
1 sound broadcasting system for the theatre

VARIOUS :
Headphone communication between: Light production, Sound production, Stage.
Light production and Sound Production side by side.
Dressing rooms for 12 dancers with hot water showers.
A plan of the stage must be returned without fail, together with a road access plan with the technical specification form, and request for technical information.
