The conciseness and immediate impact of the images offered by the dance are particularly suitable for quick, dazzling presentation of a world which is developed over many volumes of literature. A world carried away by the turmoil of a collective destiny which nobody has ever really controlled, and now no more than before. The choreography discerns and sketches the essential features with the attention of a clarity generating interest and emotion, without idle chatter. The rigour of the scenery and music accompanies the romantic atmosphere, avoiding fol-de-rol and tears. Humour also comes through the dramatic tension. The sign language created by Gigi Caciuleanu is clearly renewed, and he proves that he has radically evolved his choreography.
