That which astonishes and pleases in the contemporary creations of Gigi Caciuleanu is that dance is never used as art of affected pathos, contrary to many of his contemporaries, in my opinion. In his creations there is too much effervescence, humour and invention to hide in the shadows of our gloomy times. Gigi has the common touch which means "party time" and companionship.
